The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for the week of April 27 reveals episodes dedicated to Genoa City matriarch Katherine Chancellor (the late Jeanne Cooper).
As many viewers are aware, the Y&R has run out of original episodes to air. This is due to a halt in production because of the COVID-19 pandemic. But that doesn’t mean CBS is going to leave fans in the lurch. Y&R plans to air theme weeks, based on classic characters and storylines.
Entitled Katherine The Great, fans will be treated to five classic Katherine Chancellor episodes. This week’s episodes will also feature Y&R legends Eric Braeden (Victor Newman), Melody Thomas Scott (Nikki Newman), the late Kristoff St. John (Neil Winters), Jess Walton (Jill Abbott), Tracey E. Bregman (Lauren Fenmore), Doug Davidson (Paul Williams) and Peter Bergman (Jack Abbott).
Young And The Restless Scoop – Marge Catrooke Impersonated Katherine Chancellor
It’s rumored that at least one episode this week will feature Marge Catrooke, a waitress working in a diner who impersonated Katherine and took over her life. Clint Radison (James Michael Gregory) spotted her and saw she was a dead ringer for Katherine. Then he plotted to steal all of her money, so he kidnapped Katherine and replaced her with Marge.

The former waitress ended up selling Katherine’s company, Chancellor Industries, destroying her relationship with her husband Rex Sterling (Quinn K. Redeker) and was preparing to sell off everything else. But first, Marge paid Katherine a visit, to lord it over her while she was still being held captive.
“My god, you are despicable,” Katherine told her doppelganger, when Marge visited her in her captivity. “You’ve robbed me of my family, you’ve robbed me of my home. And as if that is not enough, you’ve come here to flaunt all the anguish that you’ve caused me.”
Young And The Restless Scoop – Brock Reynolds Returned The Duchess To Her Rightful Place
Marge was slightly surprised by Katherine’s reaction. She thought her look-a-like would be curious to see her. “You know what I would like to see?” Katherine told her. “I’d like to see you in hell.”
Lucky for Kay, her son Brock Reynolds (Beau Kazer) figured out Marge was an impostor. He foiled Marge and Clint’s plan and returned The Duchess to her rightful place in her home and at her company.
